The video-book is a new means to disseminate information created by professors Alfonso Rubio and Juan Luis Díez. Its methodology is based on conventional books but uses computer science, multimedia techniques, geo-location technology and support
on information systems servers, to facilitate the reader’s understanding and retention of information, in addition to making it possible to accuracy of it. This is because the Video-book has the following characteristics:
1) Maximum ease of updating information in real time, which is seldom done in conventional books, videos and documentaries due to the high cost involved, leaving the wrong data to be corrected in the next edition. not having it, which is the norm, that misinformation will always continue to be disseminated. In the video-book, as it is supported on a server, the correction is very easy, free and immediate.
2) It incorporates geolocation and geovision systems with updated satellite images in three dimensions (3D) of maps, reliefs, mountains, buildings, etc. This makes it possible for the reader to find the place and the environment very easily, in addition to incorporating all the changes in roads, highways, buildings, etc.
3) It allows you to share the publications very easily with one or many people and for free.
4) It allows the reduction to the maximum of the storage of the information in the devices of the reader.
5) Provides greater ease of location and access to information.
6) Video-books have a broad content, greater than the videos that are disseminated on the networks.
7) The video-book, as it has a structure more in line with the habits of today’s society than traditional books or documentaries, makes it possible to read more than the traditional book.

It differs from the video-book in the extension, it is shorter and only consists of a didactic unit.
It has the same advantages for the reader as those stated for the Video-book
